Gobble, gobble

Here it is, the required Thanksgiving outfit post! Lets be honest here, the quality of these pictures is absolute crap, but I hardly care. This is dress is stripey, vibrant perfection!! This is hands down the best purchase I've ever made from eShakti, and also one of my favorite purchases, period. Not only because of the gorgeous stripe, but because of the quality; it's very clearly well made. The fabric is a thick, luxurious cotton with minimal stretch. The stripes are individual strips of fabric sewn together, and the pleating at the waist is meticulous and oh so perfect. A pain to iron, but once you do, they create the most charming puff in the skirt.

Besides all of that, the fit is spot on. The neckline is cut high enough to keep the girls in check even with the V neck, there's no gaping at the arm holes, and it nips in perfectly at the waist. I never do custom sizing for eShakti, I just select the best standard size for my measurements and add my height and bra size :) If you're dying for some stripey goodness of your own, the green and blue version of this beauty is still available. Do you like this jacket I picked up from eShakti?? I've been eyeing it up for a while and finally took the plunge a few weeks ago! The fabric is different than what I expected, I thought it'd be a thick cotton, but it's quite thin and almost a swishy sort of fabric...the sleeves hit below the elbows but I like my shorter so I rolled them for now; I'm planning to shorten the and perhaps take them in a bit as they're slightly baggy on me. All in all though, a really cute jacket - It'll be great as a dress topper!

Ohhh eShakti, you've done it again - made me fall in love with your whimsical, feminine designs! If I had the dough, I'd buy sooo much stuff off this site! Here are a few of my favorites of the moment:

Every time I browse the site I love eShakti  more and more. The black and pink floral corset dress is just...gorgeous. I love that it buttons down the front and the little ruffle detail at the neckline. And I completely died when I saw that dot printed sheath dress with the contrasting collar, sleeve, and waist! Office appropriate shape in a fun, out of the box print - right up my alley! I love the shape of that purple sequined top, it'd be super easy to dress up with a pair of leggings and killer heels, but I could see myself wearing it with a pair of demin shorts and some embellished flats as well. As for the flowy teal bow top - well, it's already on it's way to me :)

I'm also a big fan of the maxi trend for the summer and eShakti has a collection of really cute ones!
