A break from regular programming...

Hi everyone! Sorry for my absence, but there's a lot going on around these parts! Friday (the 13th, ooo) was my last day of work at my current job. I can't tell you what a relief it's been these last few days to actually have some free time to do whatever my heart desires! I've spent it doing double work outs and running last minute errands for my big summer trip. 

Thats right, it's vacation time - this evening actually! A friend and I are leaving tonight for an 11 day tour all around Ireland, after which I'll be flying straight to Greece to spend the rest of August with family on the little island of Skyros. So it'll be pretty quiet around here, though I'll try to pop in every so often for an outfit post (I mean, I will have a very picturesque location...). One dress, two ways

I finally got this gorgeous maxi from Dorothy Perkins tailored after owning it for over a year and only ever wearing it as a skirt. I was so excited to finally be able to wear the dress on it's own (something I was never able to do before I got it tweaked), and my sorority sister's outdoor, lake-side wedding this past weekend proved to be the most perfect occasion for a bright maxi and bold accessories! Cheers to the new Mr. and Mrs!

Day: Tee: Target, Shorts: DIY, Scarf: Kohl's, Sandals: Payless, Sunnies: Target. Night: Dress, H&M, Belt: Misc, Necklace: Borrowed, Sandals (same).

Days at the beach and nights out on the town call for outfits that are easy, cute, and most of all, cool! Shorts and a tee are foolproof, but don't forget a lightweight scarf in case of overactive air-conditioning. For night, there's nothing so easy as a cotton LBD and fun accessories.
