Holy crap guys, you will never guess what happened to me!!!! I must have been visited by the fashion gods because yesterday, six days after I got a my refund, my ASOS order came in the mail!!!!! I couldn't believe it!!
What's a girl supposed to do now? Contact ASOS and tell them I FINALLY, after a month, got my order? I hardly think they'd try to tell me to give them the money back. A month is a shameful amount of time to wait for a package, even one from overseas. Do you think I should tell them?
My first thought was "No!" Don't tell them. After all, I think after waiting over month you deserve the items for free. Plus it shows that they didn't even look into the status of your order good enough, which proves bad customer service.
ReplyDeleteBut after I thought about it, I realize that the guilt might set in (damn those stupid morals, lol). I would tell them. I don't think there's any way of you paying them back for the items anyway, so most likely they'll just call it a loss (which they've done already since they refunded u for items that were "lost").
My final decision, tell them so the guilt won't set in. But I don't think you're obligated to do so and I don't think you should feel bad if you decide not to tell them.

Nah, I got mine too....and I'm keeping it. Besides, they already refunded it.
ReplyDeleteSo many problems with Asos! I just got an e-mail from them saying the received my return.. on a package that I haven't even received yet? Then they say they can't reship it because they already refunded me the money.. but one of the dresses I ordered is sold out in the size I wanted. And if I reorder I can't use a coupon code I was given recently that was for one-time use!
ReplyDeleteSorry for the novel! I'm just frustrated and it seems like everyone is having problems too. So I say keep the order and don't say anything! Or tell them, they can't ask for a repayment.
I had the same thing happen to me a few weeks ago! There must have been like a major shipping issue at ASOS during the same period because it seems like everyones packages were delayed/missing all around the same time.
ReplyDeleteI kept the two items I was refunded since they showed up nearly a month and half after being ordered and my refund had processed.
I get the feeling ASOS wouldn't expect anyone to repay for the lost items given it was their fault to begin with.
Agreed Elle, their shipping issues are their own fault and I don't think they'd expect anyone to give stuff back. Glad you got your order though! There's so much other stuff I want to order now but I'm afraid it'll get lost again!
ReplyDeleteThen again, I am waiting on an order from Evans that they told me shipped on Nov. 8th...maybe it's not ASOS' fault and there's something messy going on with the mail between the US and UK? I hope not!
@Elizabeth hope everything worked out for you!! Enter my giveaway and maybe you'll win the ASOS dress to make up for your messed up order :)
